(MENAFN - Jordan Times)Thursday's trading value amounted to JD67.3 million spread over 68.6 million shares traded through 13,783 transactions.

The share price index closed at 2,603 points, an increase of 1.45 per cent. Out of 174 firms whose shares were traded, prices of 108 corporations rose, and those of 41 companies declined.

The top five gainers were Alentkaeya for Investment and Real Estate Development by 5 per cent, Resources Company for Development and Investment Plc. by 5 per cent, Investment House for Financial Services by 4.93 per cent, Darwish Al Khalili and Sons by 4.92 per cent, and Middle East Diversified Investment by 4.91 per cent.

The top five losers were Akary for Industries and Real Estate Investments by 4.95 per cent, Hayat Pharmaceutical Industries Co. by 4.84 per cent, Al Dawliyah for Hotels and Malls by 4.39 per cent, Awtad for Financial and Real Estate Investment by 4.04 per cent, and Jordan Trade Facilities by 4 per cent.
