Amman Stock Exchange trading report for Mar 22


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) Monday's trading value amounted to JD32.6 million spread over 39.8 million shares traded through 11,400 transactions. The share price index closed at 2,501 points, a drop of 0.87 per cent. Out of 175 companies whose shares were traded, prices of 43 firms rose, and those of 103 corporations declined. The top five gainers were Jordanian Management and Consulting by 5 per cent, Arab Real Estate Development by 5 per cent, Ittihad Schools by 4.96 per cent, Specialised Jordanian Investment by 4.87 per cent and Investment House for Financial Services by 4.76 per cent. The top five losers were Jordan Commercial Bank by 5 per cent, Jordan Company for Electricity and Oil Shale by 4.92 per cent, Rum Group for Transportation and Tourism Investment by 4.90 per cent, High Performance Real Estate by 4.84 per cent and Al Faris National Comp for Investment and Export by 4.84 per cent.
