(MENAFN- Jordan Times) Sunday's trading value amounted to JD36.1 million spread over 42.2 million shares traded through 9,891 transactions. The share price index closed at 2,462 points, a drop of 0.14 per cent. Out of 154 corporations whose shares were traded, prices of 63 companies rose, and those of 54 entities declined. The top five gainers were Methaq Real Estate Investment by 5 per cent, Jordan Paper and Cardboard Factories by 5 per cent, Irbid District Electricity by 4.90 per cent, Alisraa for Islamic Finance and Investment by 4.85 per cent and Arab German Insurance by 4.80 per cent. The top five losers were Specialised Investment Compounds by 5 per cent, Jordan Emirates Insurance by 4.76 per cent, Alentkaeya for Investment and Real Estate Development by 4.72 per cent, Middle East Complex for Eng., Electronics and Heavy Industries by 4.55 per cent and Nutri Dar by 4.55 per cent.
