Amman Stock Exchange trading report for Sep 13


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) Sunday's trading value amounted to JD41.3 million spread over 31.4 million shares traded through 15,544 transactions. The share price index closed at 2,634 points, a decline of 0.31 per cent. Out of 168 companies whose shares were traded, prices of 57 firms rose, and those of 80 entities declined. The top five gainers were Darwish Al Khalili & Sons by 5 per cent, Union Investment Corporation by 4.97 per cent, Arab German Insurance by 4.9 per cent, Union Land Development Corporation by 4.81 per cent, and Trust International Transport by 4.76 per cent. The top five losers were Capital Bank of Jordan by 5 per cent, Travertine by 5 per cent, Kafa'a for Financial & Economical Investments by 5 per cent, Comprehensive Multiple Project by 4.95 per cent, and Falcon for Investment & Financial Services by 4.86 per cent.
