Amman Stock Exchange trading report for Sunday July 6


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) Monday's trading value amounted to JD15.8 million spread over 12 million shares traded through 8,144 transactions. The share price index closed at 2,659 points, a decline of 1.08 per cent. Out of 169 corporations whose shares were traded, prices of 56 companies rose, and those of 93 firms declined. The top five gainers were Dimensions Jordan and Emirates Commercial Investments Corporation by 4.96 per cent, Al Barakah Takaful by 4.91 per cent, First Jordan Investment by 4.88 per cent, Arab Aluminium Industry/Aral by 4.84 per cent, and Jordan Central by 4.72 per cent. The top five losers were Jordan International Trading Centre by 5.22 per cent, Union Bank by 5 per cent, Ad Dulayl Industrial Park Co. & Real Estate by 5 per cent, Rum Aladdin Industries by 5 per cent, and Palaces Real Estate and Development by 5 per cent.
