Bahrain's Tamkeen signs $1.3m agreement with Exceed IT 

(MENAFN) Tamkeen, Bahrain' s labour fund, has signed a 1.3 million agreement with Exceed IT Services, a Microsoft certified gold partner, to offer training and jobs to 100 Bahraini university graduates, Gulf Daily News reported.

Exceed IT Services' provides high quality IT Solutions through partnerships with leading companies and organisations.

Tamkeen chief executive Abdulellah Al-Qassimi and Exceed IT Services' chairman Adel Al-Safar signed the agreement on the sidelines of the Bahrain ICT Expo 2009.

The initiative is aimed at bridging the gap between academic life and a successful working life through providing opportunities for gaining practical experience.

Under the deal, 100 Bahraini university graduates will receive theoretical and practical training for 12 months in order to take up jobs in the IT field after graduation, such as enterprise consumer support technicians, server administrators, enterprise administrators and enterprise infrastructure OS or applications administrators.
