The share price index closed at 2,646 points, an increase of 0.66 per cent.
Out of 175 corporations whose shares were traded, prices of 84 companies rose, and those of 66 firms declined.
The top five gainers were Al Faris National Company for Investment & Export by 4.94 per cent, Jordanian Duty Free Shops by 4.94 per cent, United Arab Investors by 4.9 per cent, Darwish Al Khalili & Sons by 4.9 per cent, and Jerusalem Insurance by 4.9 per cent.
The top five losers were Enjaz for Development & Multi Projects by 4.98 per cent, Société Générale De Banque - Jordanie by 4.89 per cent, Jordan Central by 4.87 per cent, Arab Union International Insurance by 4.84 per cent, and Mediterranean & Gulf Insurance - Jordan by 4.8 per cent.
