Amman Stock Exchange trading report for Thursday Mar 12


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) Thursday's trading value amounted to JD46.2 million spread over 26 million shares traded through 12,042 transactions. The share price index closed at 2,595 points, a decline of 0.51 per cent. Out of 168 companies whose shares were traded, prices of 59 firms rose, and those of 71 entities declined. The top five gainers were International Cards by 4.96 per cent, Darwish Al Khalili & Sons by 4.84 per cent, Mediterranean & Gulf Insurance-Jordan by 4.81 per cent, Afaq for Energy by 4.81 per cent, and Middle East Diversified Investment by 4.8 per cent. The top five losers were Cairo Amman Bank by 4.88 per cent, Arab East for Real Estate Investments by 4.86 per cent, Kafa'a for Financial & Economical Investments by 4.76 per cent, Enjaz for Development & Multi Projects by 4.74 per cent, and Jordan National Shipping Lines by 4.65 per cent.
