Amman Stock Exchange trading report on Sunday Jan 18


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) Sunday's trading value amounted to JD24 million spread over 13.1 million shares traded through 9,542 transactions. The shares price index closed at 2,772 points, a 0.11 per cent decline. Out of 157 corporations whose shares were traded, prices of 67 companies rose, and prices of 66 firms declined. The top five gainers were Palaces Real Estate and Development by 4.95 per cent, Al Quds Ready Mix by 4.94 per cent, Amlak Finance (Jordan) by 4.94 per cent, Sabaek Invest by 4.92 per cent and Capital Bank of Jordan by 4.88 per cent. The top five losers were Jordan Investment Trust by 5.04 per cent, Baton for Blocks and Interlocking Tiles by 5 per cent, Al Dawliyah for Hotels and Malls by 4.93 per cent, Irbid District Electricity by 4.91 per cent and Al Ahlia Enterprises by 4.84 per cent.
