Amman stock exchange trading report on Tuesday Dec 2


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) Tuesday's trading value amounted to JD24 million spread over 9.5 million shares traded through 8,542 transactions. The share price index closed at 2,755 points, a decrease of 3.02 per cent. Out of 174 companies whose shares were traded, prices of 35 firms rose, and those of 130 firms declined. The top five gainers were Jordan International Insurance by 5 per cent, Petra Education by 5 per cent, Al Salem For Investments by 4.92 per cent, The Arab Internationl For Education & Investment by 4.92 per cent, and Al Jamil For Investments Co. by 4.84 per cent. The top five losers were the Sabaek Invest by 5 per cent, National Portfolio Securities by 5 per cent, The Consultant & Investment Group by 5 per cent, Jordan Hotels & Tourism by 5 per cent, and Al Amal Financial Investments by 5 per cent.
