Public Storage to redeem depositary shares on 27 December

Nov 09, 2012 (Menafn - M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) --Real estate investment trust Public Storage PSA on Thursday announced the redemption of certain depositary shares.

The company is calling for redemption all outstanding depositary shares representing interests in its 6.250% cumulative preferred shares, Series Z PSA.PRZ, its 6.125% cumulative preferred shares, Series A PSA.PRA and its 6.18% cumulative preferred shares, Series D PSA.PRD on 27 December 2012 at USD25 per depositary share.

In total, the redemption amount to be paid to holders of the depositary shares is USD112.5m for the Series Z, USD115m for the Series A and USD135m for the Series D shares for a combined amount of USD362.5m.
