Kuwait- Youth makes use of hoax bomb call to board plane


(MENAFN- Arab Times) "There is a bomb in the plane and it will explode" - this was the hoax statement made by a Kuwaiti youth when he was stopped from boarding a flight to Jordan because he arrived late at the airport. According to security sources, the Kuwaiti youth, who arrived late to the airport for his flight to Jordan via Royal Jordanian Airlines, was barred by the officials at the airport counter from boarding the flight. During the intense argument between them, the suspect revealed about a bomb in the plane. The employees at the airport counter notified the airport security officials about the suspect's claim. After notifying the bomb squad team, the officials immediately evacuated the passengers from the plane. The bomb squad team rushed to the location and inspected the plane to realize that the suspect's statement was a hoax. During interrogations, the suspect revealed that he is a student of a university in Jordan and admitted to giving false information about the bomb in the plane because he was stopped from boarding the plane. He was arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him.
