Water Desalination Conference In The Arab Countries
The Conference aims at:
1- Allowing the exchange of expertise among the parties and bodies in the Arab countries, which are concerned with the desalination industry and the environment, through the presentation of their successful experiences, for the advancement and development of the desalination technology.
2- Encouraging and promoting research cooperation and technical development between research bodies at the Arab and international levels by establishing cooperation to conduct specialized research studies that are compatible with the environment of the region, finding common communication channels between individuals and research bodies concerned with the desalination domain and uniting research efforts.
3- Encouraging the private sector to invest in desalination projects by introducing the relevant investment opportunities available in construction, operation and maintenance.
4- Contributing to the transfer of the technology to the Arab region and its nationalization, by inciting the companies specialized in desalination towards establishing their own factories of desalination materials and stations in the region.
5- Detecting the problems encountered by the desalination industry in the Arab region and finding the proper solutions.
6- Enhancing the performance of employees in the desalination domain, through training and rehabilitation, and guarantying the transfer of expertise to the new generation of engineers and technicians.
7- Evaluating the feasibility of using alternative energies in desalination and displaying the measures that have been made so far in the Arab countries.
