In 2007, the economy of Asia boomed as a result of consecutive real GDP Growth, the bull stock market, and money for investment from Mainland China. The decreased unemployed rate, increased wages and prosperous tourism made consumers willing to spend. Therefore, the use of financial cards-credit cards, debit cards, ATM cards, pre-paid cards, charge cards and smart cards-increased in 2007; part from consumption growth, banks focused on wealth management. The use of financial card has perhaps been the most spectacular lubricant of the wheels of commerce in the latter part of the twentieth century. The ease acquisition of goods and service has fuelled the growth of the global economy, particularly in Asia.
