SAGIA draws attention of US companies and BCIU to its initiatives

Riyadh, Rajab 16, 1439, April 02, 2018, SPA -- Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) has held a number of meetings with international companies such as Textron, EastmanChemC, and McDermott, as well as the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) to achieve the Authority's vision emanating from Kingdom's Vision 2030 to attract high-value investments in coincidence with the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense to the United States of America.
SAGIA in cooperation with BCIU organized a workshop for US companies to brief them on the investment environment and facilities being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to investors in order to attract foreign investments in many sectors.
On the sidelines of the meetings, SAGIA has signed a number of agreements and granted 13 American companies investment licenses in the areas of services, industry, information technology, oil services, construction, automotive industry, environment, food services, oil, gas and renewable energy.
Within the framework of the visit of HRH Crown Prince to the United States of America, the Governor of SAGIA Engineer Ibrahim bin Abdulrahman Al-Omar has met during his presence in America the President of National U.S.-Arab Chamber of Commerce and they discussed the importance of trade and economic cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America.
