Over 100 artillery shells from Pakistan lands in Kunar

(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) ASADABAD (Pajhwok): Pakistani forces have fired 110 artillery shells in the Shaltan and Dangam districts of eastern Kunar province, an official said on Thursday.

Police spokesman Farid Dehqan told Pajhwok Afghan News the artillery shells attacks began on Wednesday and continued until now.

He said no person had been injured in the attacks but one house was destroyed and some animals had been killed.

It is pertinent to mention that Defence Ministry last month said security forces had been told to give befitting response to Pakistan aggression across the Durand Line.
