Saudi Embassy in Lebanon Inaugurates Riyadh AlSalam Garden at its Headquarters in Beirut

Beirut, Rajab 04, 1439, March 21, 2018, SPA -- The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Beirut, Lebanon, held a special ceremony to mark the occasion of International Day of Forests, inaugurating a garden named "Riyadh Al-Salam" at the premises of the Embassy in Beirut in the presence of Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy Minister Plenipotentiary Walid bin Abdullah Bukhari, Governor of Beirut Judge Ziad Chebib, GCC and Arab countries accredited ambassadors to Lebanon, the embassy staff and other officials.
After planting a cedar tree in the garden, Bukhari delivered a speech in which he said: "We have chosen the cedar tree as the first to be planted in the Garden of Peace", pointing out that it is a sign of the solidity and strength of relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Lebanon.
For his part, the governor of Beirut said that this initiative reflects the true spirit of the Kingdom and emphasizes the deep rooted relations in the past, the present and the future between the two brotherly countries.
