US-Bangla Airlines flies to Bangkok from May 3


(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Dhaka : The leading private sector carrier of the country US-Bangla Airlines expands its international network with the introduction of four weekly flights to Bangkok from May 3. Flight in the Chittagong--Bangkok route will be operated on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday by Boeing 737-800, offering 8 business class and 156 economy class seats. Besides, from April 13 the Airline will operate to Kolkata from Chittagong every Thursday and Sunday. Imran Asif, Chief Executive Officer of US-Bangla Airlines was addressing a press conference held at a city hotel today, April 8, to inform about the new flights, Sohail Majid, Deputy Director, Sales and Marketing of the airline spoke on the occasion among others. "By June of the current year, we will be flying to Doha. Guangzhou is in our immediate list as well", said Imran Asif. "With the addition of bigger Boeing 777-200 by the end of the year we plan to introduce flights to Dammam and Jeddah". The flight for Bangkok will depart from Chittagong at 8 am and from at 9.40 am to reach Bangkok at 1.10 pm. The return flight will depart from Bangkok at 2.10 pm to land in Chittagong at 3.40 pm and at 5.10 pm. Kolkata bound flight will leave Chittagong at 8.50 am to reach Kolkata at 9.30 am and the return flight will reach Chittagong at 11:50 am departing from Kolkata at 10.10 am . Chittagong-Bangkok one-way all inclusive economy class fare will start from BDT 16,999 and return fare from BDT 26,599. For -Bangkok one way and return fares will start from BDT 15,599 and BDT 21,500 respectively. On the other hand Chittagong-Kolkata one- way all inclusive fare has been fixed at BDT 6,399 and the return fare at BDT 12,199. US-Bangla Airlines also offers tour packages at a competitive price for both Bangkok and Kolkata for the interested travelers. With more than 200 weekly flights and 98.7% on-time performance, US-Bangla Airlines presently serves all major destinations within the country and Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Kathmandu, Muscat and Kolkata in the international sector. The airline has a fleet of six aircraft -three Dash 8 Q-400 and three Boeing 737-800 .
