Tenth:
The Cabinet approved the licensing of First Abu Dhabi Bank to open three branches in the Kingdom and authorized the Minister of Finance to decide any subsequent request to open other branches of the bank in the Kingdom.
Eleventh:
The Cabinet approved a recommendation to transform the Saudi Customs Department into a public authority carrying the name General Commission for Customs. The regulation of the new organization was also agreed.
Twelfth:
The Cabinet approved a number of promotions at the 15th and 14th ranks as follows:
1- Abdulhameed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Ghaliqa is promoted to the position of a Cabinet's Committee Director (rank 15) at Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers.
2- Saleh bin Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Tuwijeri is promoted to the position of Administrative Advisor (rank 14) at the General Presidency for Religious Research and Ifta.
3- Eng. Mohammed bin Ahmad bin Mohammed Asiri is promoted to the position of Architect Consultant Engineer (rank 14) at Asir Principality.
4- Mohammed bin Suleiman bin Nasser Al-Mulla is promoted to the position of Assistant Undersecretary for Revenue Control at the Ministry of Finance.
The Cabinet was briefed on a number of general issues on its agenda, including annual reports of each of the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and King Fahd National Library for previous fiscal years. The Cabinet issued relevant instructions on the reports.
