(MENAFN) Police sources declared that a security officer has died as another two were wounded in the ISIL terrorists attack in northern Iraq.
Afrasyav Kamil,Police spokesman confirmed that ISIL militants launched the attacks on security forces in Sergaran town,Kirkuk governorate.
The clashes between army forces and the militants continued for about an hour,as the militants ran to other regions after military backup were rushed to the area.
Kamil also announced that ISIL sleeper cells fired at the Hashd al-Shabi militia members,who had been guarding the Dibis-Sergaran roadway in the area.
