Somaliland: President Bihi's Social Engagements in Dubai Includes Meet with Silanyo and DPW Chair

Somalilandsun- The head of state H.E Musa Bihi Abdi has paid a courtesy call at the residence of his predecessor Mr.Ahmed Mohammed Mahmud (Silanyo) in Dubai.
President Bihi who is on a working visit to UAE held discussions with his former comrade. According to a press statement released by presidential spokesperson their talk pertained about the political ,economic and security of Somaliland at the moment. They also spoke about the current state of affairs in the country and the economic investment by DP World.
The former president was in jovial mood as he exchange jokes with president Bihi.
The head of state briefed Mr.Silanyo on matters concerning his visit what he had accomplished during his tour and what remained.
After the meeting president Bihi and his delegation went straight to Jumeirah Emirates Tower Hotel in Dubai where he was hosted by the chairman of DP World Sultan Ahmed Bin Suleiman.

The president was treated to sumptuous luncheon after he was invited to Dubai by the DP World executive.
Speaking at the luncheon Bin Suleiman Said 'I'm very honored to host you Mr.President we shall continue to invest in Somaliland because our two countries have a robust bilateral relationship. We have more projects in store and God willing shall fulfill our obligation to the people of Somaliland.'
DP World is going to expand the Berbera International Port and commence construction of Berbera to Ethiopia tarmac road.
President Bihi thanked DP World chairman for the invitation and investment in Somaliland economy. He also highlighted the things Somaliland would like the UAE government to support.
