(MENAFN) Sharjah Economic Excellence Network Award 2017 was revealed to have been presented to British Orchard Kids Kingdom Nursery, marking it as the first educational institution to be presented with the award.
Deputy Ruler of Sharjah Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi was the one to award the nursery as it won the category "Sharjah Top 10 Businesses Award 2017".
"It's an honour to be singled out at such a prestigious forum, and I take this opportunity to thank His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, as well as the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry for recognising our efforts," the nursery's founder and CEO Dr Vandana Gandhi declared.
He continued "the award also highlights the fact that each of the British Orchard's 18 nurseries is an example of excellence and high quality educational standards. We take pride in our contribution towards the educational sector in the UAE, and in the spirit of the Year of Zayed, we will continue to instil our leader's deeply-rooted values, principles and traditions in the youngsters."
