Baghdad, Jumada II 07, 1439, February 23, 2018, SPA -- The Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives Dr. Salim Al-Jabouri met today in Baghdad a Saudi media delegation comprising a number of editors and Journalists as well as foreign and local media representatives in the Kingdom, in the presence of the Saudi Ambassador to Iraq Abdulaziz Al-Shammari.
Dr. Al-Jabouri stressed Iraq's keenness to strengthen its relations with its Arab brothers and return to its pivotal role in Arab issues.
Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim Al-Jaafar also received the Saudi media delegation.
During the meeting, the minister stressed the important role of the media in the two brotherly countries in expanding the horizons of bilateral cooperation and opening new horizons to consolidate this cooperation.
The delegation arrived earlier today in Baghdad, where he was received at the airport by the Saudi Ambassador to Iraq and the Iraqi Syndicate Journalists.
