Five Iranian security troopers shot dead amid Sufi protest


(MENAFN) Police confirmed the death of three Iranian security troopers amid a fight with religious protesters in Tehran, while 300 of them were detained.

Nourali Tabandeh, a leader aged 90, had a crowed surrounding his house as he was screaming that they would not accept his detainment, in the same neighborhood in northern Tehran.

Weeks after the anti- governmental exhibition in over 80 towns which brought about the death of 25 people and thousands of arrests, protests began.

A website connected to the Gonabadi Sufis, Majzooban, stated that police shot dead more protesters.
