Dubai: Kuwait senior executive appointed as Meraas CEO


(MENAFN) Kuwait's sovereign wealth fund senior executive Osama al-Ayoub was declared to have been appointed as Dubai's property company Meraas Holding's CEO.

In a statement on its website, the Dubai government-linked property firm introduced Al-Ayoub as a man with over twenty years of collected experience in the field of handling sovereign wealth funds.

He was also revealed to have worked at the Kuwait Investment Office, which is the London office of Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA), as its president and CEO.

The expertise of Meraas' new appointed chief executive officer also include having been employed at Goldman Sachs with several position, including being a managing director the securities division, as well as being the co-head of the European Special Situation Group for the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region.
