(MENAFN) The death of three Egyptian soldiers, with an officer among them, has been confirmed to have struck amid a clash with militants in Sinai.
Moreover, no fatalities were informed about in Egypt since the operation commenced on February 9.
Tamer al-Rifai, army spokesman, confirmed the death of another two policemen, as well as the injury of conscript while fighting as a part of a crackdown to put an end to Islamic militants' long term rebellion.
The spokesman further added that the fight also caused the death of four militants.
