(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Police have detained two young men for killing a child after raping him in the Injil district of western Herat province, an official said on Saturday.
Abdul Ahad Walizada, the police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the men had abducted an eight-year-old boy on February 15. The victim was stabbed to death after being abused in Shaidaee area.
The perpetrators, who were detained from their houses, had confessed to their crime, Walizada said. The detainees are currently under interrogation.
