(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar Women's Sports Committee announced that it will host Bayern Munich women's football team camp from Jan. 27 to Feb. 3. The programme includes a friendly match against Qatar women's team on Feb. 2 at the Women's Sports Committee Stadium.
The event will be preceded by an official ceremony in honour of the German sports delegation on Jan. 29 at Qatar Islamic Museum.
The committee will also organise a recreation trip for players and the administrative and technical staff to Qatar Olympic Committee's Adaam camp in Sealine. The team will be acquainted with the Qatari culture and heritage, and will enjoy the desert atmosphere and perform various sports and recreational activities for the visiting delegation.
The visit of the German football team to Qatar comes within the framework of the strong friendship and co-operation between Qatar Women's Sports Committee, the German embassy and the clubs in order to exchange experiences and enhance communication between the two countries, as well as to give Qatari players more opportunities to contact and gain experience against one of the strongest teams in Germany and European countries.
