Kuwaiti oil price up 43 cents to stand at USD 66.08 per barrel


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Jan 24 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti crude oil went up 43 cents cents yesterday and settled at USD 66.08 per barrel, compared to USD 65.65 per barrel since trading last Monday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).

In world markets, oil prices were up yesterday due to various signs of global economic progress and expectations of reducing oil productions led by OPEC organization and Russian their allies.

Oil crude price Brent mixed was up 93 cents to stand at USD 69.96 with the US crude Western Texas oil also up 90 cents and settled at USD 64.47 per barrel. (end) asj.mb
