Jordan Trail lands on National Geographic Traveler's list of 21 must-see places


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Dec. 18 (Petra) -- The National Geographic Traveler Magazine, on Tuesday, released its list of 21 must-see places to visit in 2018, among which was Jordan Trail that was selected by the magazine's editors for tourists under the Culture and Nature umbrella.

The selections were divided into three categories: cities, culture and nature. The list appears in the December/January 2018 issue of the magazine, which is now available.

In a press release, National Geographic Traveler Editor-in-Chief, George Stone said the magazine's mission is to satisfy readers' curiosity and encourage them to explore the world with passion. The 21 places have been carefully selected and are able to create a year of exhilarating discoveries and constitute the dream program for discerning travelers, Stone added.

President of the Jordan Trail Association, Muna Haddad, told Petra & quot;this is an honor that Jordan and Jordan Trail have deserved. & quot; She underlined the importance of the National Geographic Magazine to encourage its readers to take this amazing journey to get to know Jordan closely through the Jordan Trail and experience the Jordanian hospitality.

The Jordan Trail is a 650-km long hiking trail in Jordan connecting the length of Jordan from Um Qais in the north to Aqaba in the south. It is an open path and available to everyone, according Haddad.
