SANAA, 18th December, 2017 (WAM) - Up to 30 armed people have been killed and scores belonging to the rebel Houthi militia have been injured in fierce battles against the Yemeni National Army in Nahem district, east of Sanaa.
The Yemeni News Agency quoted the spokesman for the 7th Military Zone as saying that the Yemeni Army had launched a massive attack on the militia's position and had liberated the village of Al Hawl along with a number of other districts.
In the meantime, the Arab coalition forces have raided a number of militia bases, destroying ammunition and other military equipment.
The agency quoted military sources as saying that the Yemeni National Army has secured fresh military victories and liberated a number of strategic positions in Asaylan.
In Taiz, 6 militia elements were killed by the national army west of the city, the agency added, quoting military sources as saying the Yemeni Army has bombarded and killed militia forces in Al Toweir village and ensured control over the strategic Jabal El-Sheikh area.
