(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Dubai Safari Park, which had its soft opening last week, is going to be closed on Sunday following heavy rainfall in the emirate and other parts of the country.
"Due to weather conditions, #DubaiSafariPark will be closed today and will reopen again in the coming days based on the weather forecast," Dubai Safari Park announced.
In a press statement released today, DM said, "Since its soft opening on 12th December, the wildlife park has been attracting an unprecedented number of visitors, and the decision to close the park until weather stabilises has been taken to ensure the safety and security of its guests, staff members as well as animals.
"Dubai Safari will resume operations once the weather conditions improve, and will share further updates on its social media channels."
