ISIS terrorist evacuated from Raqqa went to Egypt: Erdogan

(MENAFN- Daily News Egypt) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said terrorists who fled Raqqa, Syria, went to Egypt to fight in Sinai, according to the Russian news agency Sputnik.

He also said, during a meeting of the AKP parliamentary bloc in Ankara, that the United States will use the weapons it sent to the region against Iran, Turkey, or Russia, if it can.

Erdogan concluded that his country will soon eliminate all Kurdish-affiliated militants in Syria.

In a similar context, the Egyptian military destroyed, during the past few days, several terrorist hideouts and outposts used by €œtakfiri€ elements to store weapons, ammunition, and administrative needs, according to a military spokesperson.

This came as part of intensive efforts by the armed forces to defeat terrorism in central and North Sinai and rescue law enforcement forces, in cooperation with the Second Field Army and the Air Force.
