Doha: Bollywood singing sensation Sonu Nigam and American duo, and international band the Chainsmokers will perform in Qatar as part of the Shop Qatar, the country's biggest shopping festival, to be held from 7 January to 7 February 2018 under the slogan ‘A Brand New Tradition'.
The Festival organisers announced that Shop Qatar 2018 will offer a rich array of live performances by singing sensations and unlimited family-friendly entertainment in a festive, safe environment that reflects local culture and heritage.
Confirmed artists include India's Sonu Nigam and American duo, and international band the Chainsmokers.
Shop Qatar 2018 will celebrate cultural diversity with themes such as Arabian Week (Jan 7 13), Bollywood Week (Jan 14 20) and International Week (Jan 21 Feb 7).
Sonu Nigam
Sonu Nigam will be performing as part of the Bollywood week on January 19, 7 pm at Doha Exhibition & Convention Center. The week will also see a fashion show by South East Asian designers.
The Bollywood sensation is known for superhot songs like Kal Ho Naa Ho, Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin, Suraj Hua Maddham, Tanhayee and hundreds more like these.
Tickets range from QR50 to QR1,000. (Regular QR50, Silver QR100, Gold QR200, Platinum QR350 and VIP 1,000)
The Chainsmokers
The Chainsmokers will perform during the international week of the Shop Qatar at the Doha Exhibition & Convention Centre on January 25, 9pm. Tickets are QR 275 for general admission, QR550 for VIP and QR 990 for Royal.
The Chainsmokers are known for hits like Paris, Closer, Something Just Like This and Don't Let Me Down.

Make Up Masterclass by Hanan Al Najada
Certified course and tutorial by renowned celebrity Make Up artist Hanan Al Najada on January 13 between 2pm and 6pm at The Ritz Carlton Doha and priced QR 3,000.
Make Up Masterlass by Joyce Bonelli
As part of the international week there will also be a certified course and tutorial by renowned celebrity Hollywood Make Up artist Joyce Bonelli at The Ritz Carlton Doha on January 27 between 2pm and 6:00pm. The course is priced QR 2,500.
Fashion Design Masterclass with Alejandro Resta
A 3-day certified course by renowned celebrity fashion designer Alejandro Resta, priced QR 3500, covering pattern making, cutting, designing and stitching.
