Saudi- First Conference of ASEAN Muslim Starts

Riyadh, Rabi'I 08, 1439, November 26, 2017, SPA -- The 1st International Conference of ASEAN Muslims entitled " A Moderate Nation) started today in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, being organized by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia represented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call, and Guidance.
More than 1200 scholars and thinkers from ASEAN countries discuss in the conference the moderation of Islam, originality of the approach and the necessity of application, challenges facing moderation"; sectarianism and ignorance and their impact on the disruption of Muslims' unity; and efforts of Muslim imams in achieving moderation.
