S.Korean toy imports increased

(MENAFN) According to the customs office, toy imports of South Korea to China have increased 12% this year, mainly based on an original equipment manufacturing (OEM) agreement.

The Korea Customs Service (KCS) stated that the figure was approximately at 645m USD in the year to October, accounting for 73% of the country's toy imports.

It had marked an increase of 12% from the same period of last year, and two times the volume of 2013.

The increase is mainly attributed to Korean companies' raising OEM deals with Chinese manufacturers intended to take advantage of low labor costs.
