(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 25 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's 42nd International Book Fair on Saturday came to a close, following the presentation of an interesting monodramatic show themed "fog does not hide sight." The show held at the 6th hall on the International Exhibition Grounds in Mishref area was a short psychological monodramatic presentation.
It was written and directed by Haifaa Al-Sanoussi, a professor of Literature at Kuwait University, and scenographic engineer Razan Al-Awda, as well as acted by Mohammad Akryamas, Taha Al-Zein and Ayoub Al-Masri.
The show speaks about realms of souls in an attempt to identify the nature of human souls in darkness when surrounded by ghost of fear, illusion and anxiety from the unknown.
In a statement, Al-Sanoussi said monodrama is a theatrical creative act or a story written by a special way that concerns psychological aspects in an excellent way for pleasure, repairing psychological imbalance and self-discovery and development.
She noted that monodrama is a creative psychological technique, which pays attention to individuals, lovers of literature, teachers, and social and psychological specialists.
She pointed out that she made scientific studies on this specialization and presented them in workshops, research and practical applications in a number of international conferences held in the US, Europe and the Arab world.
The show was presented at the end of the activities of the book fair, which was inaugurated by Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Acting Minister of Information Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah on November 15.
The fair organized by the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Letters was held under the patronage of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. (end) shd.hm
