(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 25 (KUNA) -- As the "Capital of Arab Youth 2017", Kuwait has put together a plethora of exciting and interactive events, its Public Authority for Youth (PAY) said on Saturday.
These events aim to reach out to the nation's youth and allow them the chance to hone their skills, PAY official Dr. Jassim. Al-Rubaian told KUNA.
He spoke of a comprehensive plan that PAY has concocted in conjunction with government bodies to support and encourage Kuwaiti youth, citing a recent youth forum that generated an impressive turnout.
On PAY's accomplishments, Al-Rubaian said that an e-newspaper was recently launched and proved a big hit among aspiring journalists and writers.
The PAY official added that through a myriad of sports and social activities, the authority seeks to engage the youth in leadership initiatives, given how significant the demographic is to the nation's growth.
Al-Rubaian revealed that PAY is in the process of constructing a number of fully equipped centers interspersed across the country and designed exclusively for youth.
