Egypt: seven to be executed, ten to life sentence


(MENAFN) Following the case of murdering Copt Egyptians in Libya, an Egyptian court has ordered for the execution of seven individuals and ruled life sentence in prison for ten others.

The court referred at seven defendants to the mufti at the last hearing to take his opinion on terminating a terrorist cell belonging to ISIS in Mersa Matruh - a case known in the Media as "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant in Libya (ISILL)".

The court had also referred them to set the Saturday, 25 November session to finalize the verdict.
