Pakistan- Rs60 million uplift schemes approved for FATA


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR, 25 November: Development schemes worth Rs60 million were approved for FATA under the annual development programme on Friday.

These schemes were approved in a meeting chaired by Additional Chief Secretary FATA Sikandar Qayyum in Peshawar. According to Director Information FATA, the meeting reviewed ongoing uplift schemes in FATA and approved new schemes. He said Rs12 million will be spent on education schemes, Rs3 million will be spent on communication schemes, Rs26 million will be spent on construction and Rs20 million will be spent on sports schemes.

Planning and Development Secretary Zubair Qureshi, Secretary Admin Mian Muhammad, Secretary Social Welfare and other officials of FATA Secretariat attended the meeting.
