ABU DHABI, 24th November, 2017 (WAM) -- The Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the Al Rawdah Mosque in Bir al-Abed, North Sinai Governorate, Egypt, on Friday.
"This heinous attack violates humanity and the sanctity of mosques. It proves once again that terrorism has no faith or identity, but it only has chaos and absurdity," said Shaykh Abdallah bin Bayyah, President of the Forum.
The Forum renewed its support to Al Azhar Al Sharif, under the chairmanship of Imam Ahmed Al Tayeb, in its endeavours to foil the terrorist agenda.
The Forum extended its condolences to the government and people of Egypt and the families of the victims. It also wished the injured a speedy recovery.
