Qatar- Abdullah bin Hamad to lead ministerial panel at 8th Bosphorus Summit

The Chairman of ‘The Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah International Foundation for Energy and Sustainable Development, H E Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah (pictured), will lead a panel discussion featuring Energy Ministers from Morocco, South Africa and Dominican Republic on day one of the upcoming 8th International Bosphorus Summit in Turkey.
The panellists will touch upon their unique experiences managing energy and resources in their respective countries as well as macro-economic developments and key political events affecting the energy industry globally. The session will be attended by 5,000 number of delegates from 90 countries.
Al-Attiyah Foundation has partnered with the Uluslararasi işbirliği Platformu - International Cooperation Platform (UIP-ICP) to organise the Summit including an ‘Energy Day' in Turkey from November 28-30, 2017.

The President of Turkey, H E Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is opening the summit which will focus on the theme: 'Design for the Future; The New Challenge of Globalization. The 8th edition of the event providing a platform for major networking and partnering between nations. The opening session also includes keynote speeches from Mehmet Büyükekşi President, ICP plus other dignitaries including senior executives from Qatar Petroleum.
Al-Attiyah Foundation is co-managing the programme for the second day of the summit, dedicated to Energy and Sustainability. The Foundation will lead the discussion with world-renowned experts on ‘how the global energy landscape will evolve'.
