Al-Attiyah to lead panel discussion at International Bosphorus Summit


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah International Foundation for Energy and Sustainable Development is partnering with the Uluslararasi i?birli?i Platformu — International Cooperation Platform (UIP-ICP) to organise the 8th International Bosphorus Summit in Turkey next week.
The event, which also includes an ‘Energy Day', will run from November 28 to 30. HE Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah will lead a panel session on the first day, which features Energy Ministers from Morocco, South Africa and Dominican Republic.
The panellists will touch upon their unique experiences managing energy and resources in their respective countries as well as macro-economic developments and key political events affecting the energy industry globally.
'I look forward to participating in the 8th Bosphorus Summit and welcome the opportunity to share experiences and insights on key energy matters with my peers from across the globe, said al-Attiyah, chairman of the Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah International Foundation for Energy and Sustainable Development.
The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdo?an, will inaugurate the summit with a theme 'Design for the Future; The New Challenge of Globalisation.
In its 8th year, the event provides a platform for major networking and partnering between nations. The opening session also includes keynote speeches from Mehmet Büyükek?i, president, ICP as well as other dignitaries including senior executives from Qatar Petroleum.
The Al-Attiyah Foundation is co-managing the programme for the second day of the summit, dedicated to energy and sustainability. It will lead the discussion with world-renowned experts on ‘how the global energy landscape will evolve.'
