Bomb attack targets mosque in northern Sinai
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Cairo, Nov. 24 (Petra) -- Dozens are feared dead after militants detonated an explosive device and opened fire on a mosque in the village of Al Rawdah in the center of Bir al-Abed in Northern Sinai on Friday.
Egyptian media said the terrorists planted an explosive device next to the mosque in the village and detonated the bomb during Friday prayers.
Preliminary reports indicate many victims after the explosion and ambulances were seen rushing to the scene.
