Saudi- Delegation of Islamic Affairs Ministry Meets with Pope of Vatican

Rome, Rabi'I 5, 1439, Nov 23, 2017, SPA -- A Saudi official delegation headed by Advisor to Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Dr. Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Luhaidan has met with Pope Francis of Vatican.
During the meeting, the delegation conveyed the greetings and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense and the government and people of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Pope of Vatican.
The delegation stressed that this visit was to express the Kingdom's appreciation to the Pope for his sincere positions and statements calling for peace and coexistence, rejection of linking between religions and terrorism and affirming sincere and deep desire to promote a culture of dialogue and peaceful coexistence among all followers of religions and cultures.
