UAE Convict in Jordanian Child Murder, Rape Case Executed

AMMAN —AlGhad— The killer, convicted of the murder and rape of one Jordanian child, Obeida, and sentenced to death earlier this year, was executed today, Wednesday, according to the child's father, Ibrahim Sudqi. Mr Sudqi confirmed to Emirati media that he himself attended the execution of the murder, along other members of the family.
Earlier on February 26th, 2017, the Emirati Court of Cassation had unanimously ratified the previous sentencing, delivered in May, 2016.
The killer, Nidal Abu Ali, an Emirati, was quickly processed and convicted, soon after the police found the child's body on the side of the road and arrested him.
