Jordan- Gov't human rights coordinator meets Dutch ambassador

Amman, Nov. 23 (Petra)--Government human rights coordinator Basel Tarawneh on Thursday discussed with Dutch Ambassador to Jordan Barbara Joziasse, joint cooperation as well as means to advance human rights in the Kingdom.

Tarawneh reviewed the government's plans and programs to implement the 2018-2019 Comprehensive National Plan on Human Rights through joint programs with national, regional and international bodies.

The government, he said, is continuing its policy of holdings meetings with all parties to spread the culture of human rights.

The ambassador praised Jordan's efforts, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, to advance human rights.
