(MENAFN) 72 items from 88 local companies were awarded by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), for being top international products.
The awards were given in two categories, one involves products that rank in the top 5, or that have over 5% of the international market, and the other concerns items with potential to rank in the top 5 of the international market within 7 years.
33 items from 45 firms were awarded for being currently top products and other 39 items from 43 companies were acknowledged as the most promising ones.
With 16 awards, the biggest recognition was earned by electric, electronics and semiconductor products, followed by health products with 14 awards.
