An official delegation from the State Audit Bureau of Kuwait concluded a three-day visit to the Audit Bureau. The visit aimed at developing mutual cooperation between the two sides and exchanging experiences and knowledge.
A statement issued by the Audit Bureau said that the visit focussed on several topics including the future vision of the Audit Bureau in Qatar, audit methodologies and business and institutional risks. The two sides also discussed auditing methodologies of capital projects and auditing methodology of performance, in addition to a number of topics related to audit. The delegation was briefed on the experience of Qatar's Audit Bureau in contracting with the international accounting and auditing office (Ernst & Young) and how it benefit, particularly with regard to the organisational structure in building institutional capacities and the development of a framework of competencies and expertise.
