Turkish, Iranian presidents meet in Sochi

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani held a meeting in Russia's Sochi, the Turkish media reported Nov. 22.
Reportedly, the sides exchanged views on the settlement of the Syrian crisis, as well as the development of bilateral relations.
President Erdogan will also meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. The settlement of the Syrian crisis is expected to be discussed at the meeting.
Syria has been suffering from an armed conflict since March 2011, which, according to the UN, has claimed more than 500,000 lives.
